Star Jones...comes clean

Well Star has finally let it out of the bag - her secret to how she lost a ton of weight. Surgery was the answer and I can't really blame her for going under the knife. Let's be honest, she was HUGE!! When she was on "The View," rarely did you see her sharing the infamous couch with her co-hosts and stars. Bravo for taking the big step to getting that person removed from your body, Star. But, why the big secret? So many stars have done it and lets just spell it out - she needed professional help to get all of that removed. Now she looks amazing. I hardly recognize her with her model-like body. You go girl! I wonder if the doctors can do something about her boring personality? That may be something she should look into.

Kevin...man of the hour

I never thought I would say this but, Kevin's pretty cool, especially compared to Britney. When he first came on the scene as Britney's new man, we all thought he was using her as a meal ticket and would bring her down. Then they came out with their reality show which made them both look like idiots and I was like, they deserve each other. After that, Kevin released a CD which confirmed that he is not a rapper and he should stick to back-up dancing. Because of Britney's recent meltdowns, Kevin has turned a corner - stepped up by filing for full custody of their kids. I think he realizes that Britney needs to "play crazy" somewhere else other than around those little ones. That makes him pretty cool in my book and I hope he gets what he wants.

Matt Damon...kicks Ben's @$$

Matt Damon is not what you call sexy but instead he is cute, adorable, and has a likeable appeal. The Bourne Trilogy has been an asset to his stardom. Matt has co-starred with George Clooney, Brad Pitt and Julia Roberts in the "Ocean's" movies. He can definitely hold his own with these heavy hitters. Having said all that, what the hell has happened to our man Ben Affleck? I can't remember the last time he's had a hit at the Box Office. Everyone thought that he was going to be the dreamy leading man stealing women's hearts with each role when it has been Matt who seems to be more in demand. Maybe they need to do a sequel of "Good Will Hunting?" It certainly wouldn't hurt Ben's career.

Usher...pisses off peers

Usher and Tameka breaking up pisses off celebrity wedding guests. It has been rumored that they registered at this phoo phoo store where something simple like a coaster could cost an arm and a leg. The classy thing to do when you're a celebrity and getting married is ask the guests to donate money to their favorite charity. Usher obviously believes that he is a charity case and the guests aren't havin' it. I wonder if the guests realize that there is such a thing as regifting. They could have saved a buckload of money that way. Maybe Usher will feel charitable and send some of the gifts back. (Sometimes gifts arrive before wedding date.) That would be classy. We'll see if Usher falls under that category.

Tom and Katie.....WHY?

So, let me get this straight, someone stole TomKat's wedding pictures? What kind of desperate person would do that? Haven't we had enough of them? I don't care if this person was trying to get money for them by using blackmail. You couldn't pay me enough to even steal those pictures. Listen, if their wedding guests were gagging and telling them to stop kissing once pronounced husband and wife, that should be your first clue. I wonder if the thief mistook the pictures thinking they were the Beckham's. Once he got them in his hand and realized he probably was like "Oh $#!t!" Having said that, enjoy this picture of TomKat kissing.

Whoopi...adding "flava" to the View

It's about time "The View" got some
flava on that show. Even though Barbara Walters has a lisp doesn't mean she's stupid. That's right, I said it - she's smart for picking women of color to be on the show. Look how well-rounded that table is-a Jew, a Christian, I don't know what Barbara is and Black women coming together on one show. Listen, Whoopi will be the voice of reason and Sherri Shephard will be the fearless one who will keep things real. I know also there were talks of Kathy Griffin sliding in as a host. Then you would have an Irish woman added to the table. How awesome would that be. Kathy would definitely shake things up. She might be too much for Barbara to control, I mean handle.

Nicole Richie...Deja Vu

I feel like we've been here before. Oh, that's right we were here with Paris Hilton not so long ago. Nicole will handle her sentence with more class than our spoiled Paris. I think she saw how ridiculous and embarrassing Paris's actions were, she will hopefully say to herself, "I'm not going out like that. Nicole looked very classy going into court today. If you know your appearance is going to be shared worldwide, might as well work it. I'm wondering what father, Lionel Richie's take on the sentence is. I honestly don't think she will serve 2 weeks of her sentence. It will also be interesting to see who comes to visit her, seeing that she didn't visit Paris when she was in jail. We'll have to wait and see.

Marc Anthony...zzzz I'm sorry was that out loud?

Talent he has, charisma - not so much. Marc Anthony has been married to Jennifer Lopez for about 3 years now and the two are royalty amongst Latino audiences. It's good to see Jennifer out and about promoting their new movie, but I don't quite get Marc's supposed appeal. He looks like he desperately needs a burger and in the sex appeal department he is lacking. Jennifer is twice his size and she isn't really that big - with exception to her @$$. Oh, you know you can't mention Jennifer without bringing up her hiney. Back to Marc - I know boring subject, but lets just end by saying he doesn't even come close to Enrique Iglesias.

Beyonce' is trippin...

The other night in Orlando Florida during Beyonce's concert, she tripped and fell down some stairs while singing one of her many hits. From what I could tell, it looked like her heel got caught on the back of her dress.
Awkward. Hair weave and lengthy arms flying everywhere-landing face first. You know that had to hurt...her ego. Now look, Beyonce' needs to realize that we all fall sometimes - maybe not in front of like a thousand adoring fans with cell phones that can record it and put it on the web so millions can see, but it does happen.

...Britney, Britney

What can I say? Is she crying out for help or is she just acting crazy to keep her name in the tabloids? If the latter is true it's working. A couple of days ago I wrote about her possibly being pregnant because of what was reported on a news show. I still am not sure how true the rumor is but in any case, the girl needs some serious intervention. Britney is coming across so nasty. I really want her to snap out of this psycho behavior. Come on Brit, pull out of this - for your kids if anything.

Lindsay Lohan...no, not again

We all remember Lindsay in that adorable movie "Parent Trap." She had us captivated by her dual role in this movie. Today you would hardly recognize her because of the hardships that show on her face and in her behavior. I really don't blame her - I blame her crazy parents. Mom parties with her and likes to steal the spotlight, while Dad has been in and out of jail because of his drug use. Lindsay was very open on how she felt about her parents fighting when she was a little girl. I believe all of this has deeply affected her. My suggestion? Track down Drew Barrymore and get some quality advice from someone who has been there and has come out on top. Drew would be a great mentor for all of these young girls. Someone needs to step up and reach out before they end up like the unforgettable Marilyn Monroe.

Britney Spears...say it isn't so

It has been reported that Britney is pregnant yet once again with her third child. You know what? She is one hot mess, and just when I was starting to pull for her. I believe according to the report she is not sure who the father is. Say it isn't so Britney - come on now. I miss the young and not so trashy Britney. Honestly, I expected her long time rival Christina Aguilera would go down this route considering her upbringing. She has her stuff together with her marriage and baby on the way. Her last CD had a classic sound and represented her well. Britney, on the other hand is on a downward spiral that noone knows what she will do next to damage her rep. She is going to need a miracle to really and genuinely turn things around. I sincerely hope the pregnancy is just a rumor.

Tammy Faye...eternally happy

Yes it's true, Tammy reportedly passed away Friday. It was requested by the family that Larry King announce it a day after so the family could have time to come together. Obviously Larry was a close friend. It was always interesting listening to Larry interview Tammy on his show. Larry being Jewish and Tammy a professed born-again Christian made for great television. You could see that they had great love and respect for each other. I always find it fascinating what the events are right before someone dies. It was Tammy's wish, I believe to go on Larry's show one last time to speak of her faith and reach out to her fans, knowing that she had reached the end. If that indeed was her goal then she definitely succeeded. Thank you Tammy for being so inspirational. You will honestly be missed.

Scott Baio...whatever

I watched Scott Baio's "reality" show 45 and single and, you know, whatever. I am just not convinced of how real this show is. He comes across a little campy and phony. It's like he's reading from a script. It's funny because I grew up watching him and had a little bit of a crush. Now he seems desperate and pathetic. I could tell you what will happen at the end of the shows season. Because he is seeing a life coach to help him with commitment problems, Scott will miraculously come to his senses concerning his long term relationship with his girlfriend and marry her. His sidekick will be kicked to the curb for hanging on his coat tails in order to score with the ladies and all will be well. This was the first episode - Scott prove me wrong in the coming ones. If this is truly a reality show than ditch the script and get real.

Kathy Griffin...coming to an end

I am so sad about Kathy Griffin's season coming to an end next week. She is rude, obnoxious, disgusting yet so funny all rolled into one. Each week I look forward to her brashness and self-promoting schemes to get her off the D-List. Let's face it, she is an A lister claiming to be less than that. The live-in "tour manager" who I think has it bad for her is just waiting to have a new title as "live-in lova." Then you have Jessica her personal assistant who I believe has let all the popularity go to her head. I mean come on, she now has her own assistant. Jessica comes across bored at times. Don't get me wrong, I can tell she does a better job at taking care of Kathy than Paula Abdul's army of assistants. Jessica has just changed from the first season. All of these dynamics have made it interesting to watch. I do have to say congrats to Kathy for her emmy nomination. I guess being a self-proclaimed "publicity whore" has really paid off.

Tammy Faye...scary

I watched Tammy last night on Larry King Live and my first thought was how scary she looked. Why would she willingly go on TV looking like that? As I listened to her answer Larry's probing questions concerning lung cancer I honestly didn't see her bones poking out from her skin anymore. She was radiating such joy and humor amidst, I'm sure unbelievable amount of pain. Her words were encouraging and comforting to her fans and she spoke of such faith and love. I mean here she is all of 65 lbs, gasping for air in between each word yet speaking of such trust in God. I felt inspired and touched really by her warmth and strength. It made me look inward and helped me see that I need to be more thankful for the little things in life - like just being able to take a deep breath without any pain. She was actually glowing last night. Tammy my prayers go out to you and your family. God bless you.

Victoria Beckham...refreshing

I think the Beckham's coming to America is exciting. When I first heard about it I could have cared less. Then I watched her reality show and my opinion changed. Victoria was suprisingly witty and normal. My favorite part of the show is when she was going to meet her assistant for the first time and she was honest about what to look for. Victoria revealed that her assistant can't be prettier or skinnier than her. Funny, Funny. I also loved that her main goal was to make her husband and kids happy. On the outside she always appeared very self-involved and cold. This show exposed how real and charming she really is.

paula abdul...needs help

I watched "Hey Paula" tonight along with previous episodes and it was once again painful. Her assistants upset me so much because of their lack of sincere care and concern for her welfare. I mean laughing when they can see how upset she is, not taking care of her personal needs and Paula almost yelling to get them to do their job is disturbing to watch. Since this reality show aired Paula has cried almost every episode. It's frustrating because I don't think she is crazy - I think her so called support team leaves her out there unprotected and not cared for. I see such lack of respect and it angers me because she seems like a kind woman. I think Paula needs Kathy Griffin's assistants. That's an idea right there - Paula should contact Kathy to get advice in how to get good help.
